VIRTUAL HALL’S SUMMER COLLEGE READINESS SEMINAR
The Virtual Hall College Preparatory Course is a month-long program designed for incoming Virtual Hall students transitioning from high school to college.
This online course blends synchronous coaching sessions with asynchronous learning modules and practical skill application to simulate the many modalities of contemporary collegiate education.
Through the four week curriculum, students will work alongside a team of coaches to assess strengths and challenges, set goals, create time and task management systems, develop collegiate level study and writing skills, increase understanding of collegiate systems and supports, and build routines that foster growth inside and outside the classroom.
The Summer College Readiness Seminar is not open as a stand-alone experience, but it is included in fall term tuition for incoming Virtual Hall students. Asynchronous coursework can start any time, and synchronous coaching begins the week of July 22nd.
